22 year-old Taggart Wall has overcome a lot in his life from a beginning where he wasn't even expected to live through infancy. You proved the world wrong and has been striving to make a difference through public service since high school. Wall ran for city commission in 2005 but lost, he vowed to run again in 2009. He did run again and this time he won. We was sworn in as the mayor of Winfield, Kansas on April 18th. Stories of young people who aspire to make a difference in the world are truly inspiring and I hope that I can one day do the same.
