In a report by USA Today, 2011 graduates are finding it much easier to find a job after they graduate than the graduates of 2010. This is wonderful news to me! I always fear that I am spending all this time, money, and effort to get out into the world and be homeless. Employers are reported to be hiring 19.3% more graduates this year than last year, which means the likelihood of getting a job is much higher but employers are not receiving nearly as many applications as they would have in the past. Many graduated who have been searching for jobs for years are just now finding positions that need to be filled. The salaries that many companies that many companies just couldn't afford to pay college graduates during the recession, are now much more feasible and offer opportunities for both the company and the job-seeker.
