I Have High Hopes for the "Tea Party"

If the Tea Party can gain enough support to get a candidate on the ballot for the 2012 presidential election, things will be a lot easier for the Democrats.  I am by no means a Democrat, contrary to popular belief, but I do feel that our country is not quite ready for another Republican.

The Tea Party would pull enough votes away from whoever the GOP puts up, that President Obama would have no problem being re-elected.  It's hard enough as it is beating an incumbent president, but splitting the votes on the right would make it a cake walk for Obama.  Especially if the Tea Party can get a big name like Donald Trump or Sarah Palin.

Sarah Palin is an embarrassment to our political system, and our education system, but you can't deny how much support she has been able to pull since the last election.  All the next election, and every election before and after, will come down to is deciding who is the lesser of two evils.
